How does PRP treatment for hair loss work?

First, a small amount of your blood is drawn and the red blood cells are isolated from the platelet-rich plasma via centrifugation. Next, the platelets are concentrated and drown up into a syringe. Finally, using a small needle, the platelets are injected strategically into your scalp in the areas that need improvement.

How many treatments will I need?

Collecting the PRP only takes about 15 to 20 minutes, and the PRP treatment itself is 60 to 90 minutes.

How long will recovery take?

There is no long recovery time with PRP treatment for hair regrowth. You may take a warm shower after the treatment. In addition, it is advised to avoid using any harsh dyes or chemical on your hair for at least 48 hours.
